PyQt version that works on OS X
Reported by Virgil Dupras | August 31st, 2009 @ 01:19 PM
I plan to drop Tiger support in my cocoa versions. However, there's still roughly 10% of Tiger users hitting my website, so I guess there's roughly the same proportion of Tiger users using dupeGuru. Therefore, I can't drop Tiger support altogether just yet.
That's why I want to release a PyQt version of dupeGuru for Tiger users. Everything works, except sending files to Trash, and some minor cosmetic issues.

Arg... Since my dev machine is on SL, I'm having tons of troubles to compile qt/pyqt, and then try to wrap it all up with py2app. The development snapshots don't work either.
I'll wait for qt 4.6, which will add SL support, and I'll continue with this ticket then. With some luck, maybe that the number of Tiger users left will be so small that I won't even need to bother.
Therefore, no Leopard development until Qt 4.6.
