Similarity Slider Bar

I thikn it would be useful if the similarity slider bar was on the toolbar (by decreasing the size of the Filter textbox).
This way you could filter the list easily, without going into preferences each time.
If you dont like this idea, then what about another toggle on the toolbar, which changes between Identical Matching and Fuzzy matching (and remembers the percentage you chose for fuzzy match setting).

I'm not convinced that it would bring much usability. Moreover, I think it would confuse users who'd think that this slider bar's effect would be immediate (when in fact, they have to restart a scan to apply the change).

Ok, fair point :)
My reasoning was mostly to make it clearer that, using default settings, the dupes being shown are not binary identical matches.
An alternative might be to simply make the 'Match %' column visible by default -

I just read on another ticket that the default behavior IS identical matching.
So this idea is probably not worth bothering with, thanks for your time though -
