Transaction Info window size with multiple documents

Reported by frog | April 26th, 2013 @ 08:34 AM

When I have two moneyGuru documents open at once, the Transaction Info dialog size seems to use the default values for the second document opened (not always obvious which this is, if multiple opened at startup it seems random).

As best I can tell the info is being saved somewhere (though i can't figure it out from the preferences plist file), because if I open them individually, both have the correct (non-default) window size for the Transaction Info dialog. It's only when opening a second document that the the second one doesn't seem to correctly pick up the non-default Transaction Info window size.

Possibly related (or a separate bug?), the column sizes for the Transaction Info window don't seem to get saved (only the window size itself). This is maybe related to Ticket #238 which was about saving size/position/column info for the Import dialog window.

This is on Mac OS X, moneyGuru 2.6.3

Yeah, there's a couple of situations where preferences are document-based but the final "resource", in this case the transaction panel, is shared among all documents, resulting in situations like this.

Document-based prefs has been introduced relatively recently and it's not all aspects of moneyGuru that have been adapted to it.
