Can't move files to external drive

When trying to move duplicates to an external drive, dupeGuru choked and gave a "No such file or directory" error on each file.
Some insight from the user as the possible cause of this:
I think the problem appears to be that the directory was already on the list, however, it is not obvious. If I make sure the directory is not on the list, I can move to the external drive.
