I don't know how this can happen. I should just reraise another more explicit error and put that ticket on hold to try to figure it out.

Oh, yay! I could reproduce the problem.
- Make a scan
- Apply a filter that would, for one of your group, include a dupe, but not the ref
- Go to Power Marker mode
- Select that dupe
- Perform Make Selected Reference... crash!
