  Well, when we think about this, rotated pictures are supposed to match, even though the scan type is "EXIF Timestamp". So the problem is not so much that the pictures are mistakenly matched, but that there should be an option for people who want to ignore EXIF rotation flags.

  I'm taking this from the wrong angle. The photos sent by the user who reported the problem were rotated, but didn't have an EXIF orientation flag, so an option to ignore that flag isn't going to fix this.

  In fact, I can't think of a situation where we wouldn't want to apply that flag. The only thing it means is that the camera was rotated when the photo was taken and that the picture is meant to be rotated.

  So, finally, what we want here is to apply the "Match scaled pictures" option to "EXIF Timestamp" scan type, and if the option isn't selected, ignore all matches that don't have the same dimensions. I'd also add a warning in the help file to say that modified pictures often keep the same timestamp, so this method of scanning can result in false positives.
