Year start month not taken into account when changing a txn
Reported by Virgil Dupras | October 4th, 2009 @ 02:21 PM | in v1.6.7 (closed)
When selecting an annual display of entries the list incorporates some entries from the next year. Changing or deleting an entry correctly "redraws" the entry list.

The problem is quite different than it appears, in fact. What happens is that if the year starts on something else than January, the "follow" rules (date range following the last edited txn) doesn't take the year start into account, and the date range reverts to a Jan-Dec based range.
In addition to fixing this problem, the date range display should be more explicit about what it covers. Instead of "2009", it should display "Apr 2009 - Mar 2010", "Apr 2009 - Now" instead of "Year to date" and a similar scheme for "Running Year" as well.
