When modifying a scheduled transaction (i.e. a transaction with the grey icon), choosing "all future occurrences" should transform the corresponding schedule. The easiest implementation probably would be to:

• stop the existing schedule on the date of the previous occurrence;

• duplicate the schedule, keeping all information identical except for:

  • the start date that becomes that of the modified transaction, and
  • the value (amount, account…) that has been modified in the transaction, which is obviously updated to the new value.

For the time being, I find schedules a bit scary to use, because transactions seem prone to loose their sync with their schedule, without any way of finding out the discrepancy short of a manual audit.
