Mistyping an account name with space results in the creation of a new account
Reported by Virgil Dupras | November 12th, 2010 @ 02:21 PM
When entering transactions, if I mistype the name of an account, I'll create a new account. So far, it's ok, since automatic account creation is a feature. When I realize I mistyped it, I can simply correct the name, and everything will be fixed automagically for me. However, if I mistype the name by adding superfluous space characters, a new account will also be created, but there's no way for the user to realize that a mistake has been made, thus confusing him. That shouldn't happen and the account name should be stripped from left/right spaces before being processed.
