Make undoing more explicit

Would it be possible to include a verification for undo? It's so easy to press the Option Z keys for longer than needed and end up undoing lots of work, some of which might no longer be on the screen.

A simple "Undo [details of (trans)action]?" with yes & no (or OK & Cancel) buttons would suffice.

I really don't like the idea of dialogs for undoing, but the problem exposed is indeed a real problem. Another way to fix this problem could be to select the tab in which the undone action took place. This way, the user would be made aware that the undo operation that was made might be a little out of the intended scope.
