[#336 state:fixed] Improved amount expression parsing.
Instead of having two separate code path for expression parsing
and "simple" amount parsing, expression parsing now uses simple
amount parsing code to reformat the expression before evaluation,
thus normalizing expression parsing and simple amount parsing.
